Information Delivery & Reporting
I worked on improving how reports were created within State Street. My role involved conducting research to understand the current workflow and identify areas for improvement. By working with different teams and gathering feedback, I helped design templates and visual guidelines to improve the overall report creation process. These templates will be used as part of State Street’s design system to ensure reports are more efficient and consistent.

I developed templates and visual guidelines to streamline report creation within State Street’s design system.
This project was intimidating as I took the lead from the start, handling tasks like finding participants, scheduling interviews, and providing weekly updates to my team and stakeholders. I gained valuable insights into the design process, particularly in synthesizing research, identifying key insights, and effectively communicating findings to stakeholders to ensure they understood the project’s impact. Throughout this project, I learned to take initiative when more information was needed and became more comfortable collaborating with teams across different time zones and cultures.

Leading research projects was challenging but worthwhile.
Being part of this project was an amazing opportunity. A big thank you to my mentors, Yui-Ting and Finna, for teaching me how to navigate large amounts of information effectively and introducing me to new skills. I’m also grateful to my supervisor, Lisa, for guiding me through the design processes, continuously challenging my thinking and perspectives, and providing opportunities to grow my interests. I learned so much, and I often refer back to this experience to guide me in my current research explorations.
